The Old First United Methodist church's youth group is well organized and always busy with activities, games,
projects, and fun always going on. Some of the things the OFUMC's youth group participate in are food drives, meetings, lock-ins,
bake sales, breakfasts, trips, work retreats, and much, much more. We meet twice a month in the church's chapel.
We always welcome new members and are looking for more and more to come. We want to grow and get more youth excited and pumped about God!!!

UP COMING EVENTS
The Youth Group is made up of young people from sixth grade and up. The group meets on a very
flexible schedule, usually a few times a month on Sunday nights. In the past the group has initiated or participated in the following activities:

- Held food drives to benefit a soup kitchen in Long Branch
- Helped out at the soup kitchen
- Raised funds for various projects
- Put on musical dramas
- Organized ski trips
- Help with church activities as needed
- Attended retreats
- Participated in mission work camps
- Held "Parents Night Out" providing child care for parents
- Attended Youth Leader workshops
- Collected items for food baskets for distribution to needy families
